Search From a COR or Syllabus
Turn course requirements into a focused OER search without inventing or rewriting official requirements.
Open this starterSearch prompts shared by faculty, librarians, and OER/ZTC colleagues. Copy what is useful, adapt only what you need, and verify the result before relying on it.
Community submitted does not mean Promptbook verified.
Before sharing, remove student names, grades, attendance, accommodation or disability information, identifiable student work, and other private or sensitive information.

Looking for the maintained Promptbook workflows? Start with Try a Task. Community prompts are optional ideas shared by educators.
These are maintained Promptbook routes, not community submissions. Use one when you want a reliable starting point; the community library below is for prompts shared by educators and approved for publication.

Submissions are reviewed before they appear in the public feed for obvious privacy and publication problems. Publication does not mean a prompt has been independently tested, fact-checked, endorsed, or shown to work across tools and disciplines.
The submission form collects the prompt, its purpose, and optional context such as discipline or tool used.
A submission does not enter the public feed until it is explicitly marked approved. Only allowlisted fields are published.
Visitors can say a prompt worked or report a problem. Those signals are useful context, not quality scores or formal endorsements.
The showcase is an informal space for examples of what happened when someone tried, adapted, or corrected a prompt.
The showcase is hosted by Padlet. It is not loaded automatically. Choose whether to load the embedded showcase or open it directly in a new tab.
Remove student names, student ID numbers, identifiable student work, grades, accommodations, disability information, confidential college information, private email addresses, and other sensitive information from prompts, screenshots, or examples.
Approved prompt submissions are public. If you provide optional attribution such as your name or institution for display, that information may appear with your prompt. Do not submit anything you do not want made public. Read the Privacy page for details.
Only share material you created, have permission to share, or are otherwise permitted to reuse. The Promptbook's CC BY-NC 4.0 license does not automatically apply to community-submitted or third-party material.
